Grants to Organisations
Faversham Pools
“Thank you Bensteds for your generous donation towards new pool floats and platforms which have both made a great addition to our swim lessons and fun sessions. Families love the new floats, and the platforms allow us to expand our reach and teach more children at any one given time.”
Doddington Parish Council
Doddington Parish Council is grateful for the grant received from the Bensted Charity as it helped to improve the parish’s play area by providing somewhere for carers and parents to go with their toddlers . It has motivated people to go out more with their children and has also encouraged interaction within the community as the adults chat while their children play, this has helped overcome the isolation which some people feel in rural communities.
Painters Forstal Community Association
“The support from Bensted’s Charity at an early stage in our long journey to raise funds to build a community hall made all the difference because we were able to use it to leverage funding from other supporters. We expect a huge impact from this new facility: on health, resilience, tackling the affordability crisis and building community spirit.”
Graveney Village Hall
“What an asset to our Village and visitors having the new footpath laid. Elderly, disabled and families can now visit the newly transformed play area and picnic bench area with ease. Before the only way to visit our site was by trudging across a muddy field.”
